The Author

Meet Wendy Jordine

Wendy is a mother of three girls, a grandmother of six, and a storyteller at heart. Her writing is an intimate bridge between generations, ensuring the traditions and resilience of her youth are never forgotten.

Growing up in Jamaica shaped the lens through which she views the world. The rhythms of the island, the deep-rooted faith of her community, and the wisdom passed down on front porches and in kitchens serve as the foundation for her writing.

"I write so my grandchildren know where they come from—and so they can find their own peace."
